Being a member of NCANS board is a great opportunity to not only attend numerous potential conferences and events, but also allows you to make an impact in your nursing student community.

Nursing and pre-nursing students are encouraged to apply.

Pre-nursing and nursing students can apply to be a secretary, treasurer, legislative director, publications director, breakthrough to nursing chair, or director at large.

Nursing students who have previously served a term on the board can additionally apply to be the president or vice president.

We have added a new position titled “President-elect.” This position is a 2-year position. During the first year the president-elect will spend the year observing how the organization is run, and the second year serving as president. This position is available to nursing and pre-nursing students with the contingency that they matriculate into nursing school before assuming president.
